Policy Configuration

This guide explains how to view, edit, and publish policy content for customers, including default policies and customer-edited ones.

Policy Types

1. Privacy

  • Description: Explains how user data is collected, stored, and used
  • Where it applies: Entire platform and user data interactions

3. Refund

  • Description: Explains refund eligibility and process

4. Cancellation

  • Description: Outlines cancellation rules for orders or services
  • Where it applies: Before or after placing an order, subscription, or service booking

Policy Management Guide

1. View Policy Name and Content

  • The policy page shows the Policy Name and its current content in a rich text editor.
  • The content initially loads with the default policy text created by the system.

2. Edit Policy Content

  • Customers can edit the default policy content using the rich text editor.
  • Changes are made directly in the editor before saving.

3. Publish Policy

  • After editing, click the Publish button to save changes.
  • Once published, the updated policy content will be saved and applied.

Policy Status


The Status column has a switch button (ON / OFF).


Status Options

  • ON (Enabled): Policy is visible on the customer-facing website.
  • OFF (Disabled): Policy is hidden, but still stored and editable in the system.

  • Useful for managing active or temporary policies
